I am sorry to read of Yvonne's death. My mum Valerie (nee George) was Yvonne's second cousin and they grew up together at Woodchurch - Mum remembers visiting Yvonne when she was in London training to be a teacher in the early 1950s and queueing on the pavement overnight for Test Match tickets etc. Later on Yvonne taught my sister at the North School for Girls in Ashford, and was supportive to me when I was doing my Librarianship postgraduate diploma, which she had also done after retiring from teaching.
